Washington Native:

My grandfather had a stall at the Pike Place Market, and my father was born on Vashon Island. My Northwest roots are deep! My husband and I were drawn to this particular area because of its unique combination of water, low rain fall, and because of the warm and friendly people who create a strong sense of community. We have lived in three different homes in Anacortes and have experienced the difference in the microclimates, which can be significant.
