One of the world's premiere boating and coastal living destinations, Anacortes, WA, anchors the north end of Fidalgo Island, the easternmost - and most accessible - island in the San Juan Archipelago. While this city of about 16,400 residents frequently makes national "Best of" lists, it remains a mostly undiscovered gem, an authentic small town with a vibrant "pitch in and make it happen" lifestyle and endless opportunities for adventure, a mere sneaker walk away.

Generally, Skyline includes the area between the southwestern tip of the airport, across Anaco Beach Rd and over to Washington Park.
At the time, many retired persons were attracted to the area. Today, homes vary in year built, style and amenities. From seventy’s ramblers to the millennium Craftsman, Skyline definitely combines the old with the new. It is a walkable community built around the Skyline Marina.
The Skyline Marina facility offers slips and a boatyard. This large marina built in 1965, is able to accommodate smaller mega yachts with advance notice. The facility is a dockominium, so access is based on availability. The large boatyard can deal with most repair and maintenance needs. The marina is open year round from 8 a.m to 5 p.m. and you must tie up and pay in the morning.
The community provides access to the beach, Flounder Bay Café Restaurant, Old Salts General Store, and to Washington Park. This area stresses seaside/bay living and appeals to both young and old and is one of the most respected communities in Anacortes.
